Recently (as in, two hours ago) I watched a video about Yumeiro Patissiere. The girl was recreating some of the stuff Ichigo made/ate. It reminded me of just how much Yumeiro Patissiere is peak AND classic shoujo story. Like, clumsy mc, transfer to a really good school, popular guy(s) take notice of her, low-key disliked/bullied for being noticed by the popular guys, reverse harem but you know who endgame is and that the others stand no change... I can go on. And don't get me started on the peak side. The fact that every pastry is important and has an impact on either the maker or the eater (that sounds weird)? I remember I got an obsession with pastries after watching it for the first time at like age 11. Had a notebook where I was planning on writting every recipe I knew and everything. Like, full on believed I was going to be that girl that bakes 24/7 only to get over it in like a week. But still, it was a really important part of my childhood. I'll always remember the moment where Ichigo tweaked every flan slightly to accomodate the taste of the judges. And the fact that in Kitchen Princess something similar happened? Peak writing fr. Also, the absolute heart break when I found out season 2 (when they go to France) was anime only... I'm the type of girl that tends to just read the manga so that I don't get bored (since I can skip a bit more, and things happen slightly faster). So the fact that, to watch s2 I had to actually watch the anime... Let's just say I left it at the end of s1 (I promise I will rewatch it, just don't have the energy now).
Jumping genres, yesterday the bllk ch307 leaks came out. Not gonna lie, Bunny is fine af. What can I say, I'm just a teen girl that likes seeing some eye candy... But what type of Spaniard names their son Bunny?? Like, not Conejo (still weird), no, BUNNY. His full name is BUNNY IGLESIAS. What Σ(°ロ°) . Any way, I wonder what the beef between him and Sae is. Lowkey found it funny how Luna could have been the reason for Sae's "emo"-fication. Like, just imagine 23? year old Luna bullying 14 year old Sae because of his bangs (and dreams but yk). But ig it makes more sense for someone of his same age to have been the reason why his dream was crushed. Also, still no news about my glorious magenta-eyed king. Hopefully he'll appear soon. I'm literally on the verge of posting the yume drawings I made on tiktok (have it on my drafts) due to the lack of news. But it would be my first post, so that's why I'm also kinda nervous. Won't be posting it on the insta one, since irl friends that don't know about this obsession follow me. So, yeah, no chance.
